A Turning Point
A Feel for Meaningful Change
What turned out the day of the new moon, a door seems to open to choose differently. Some circumstances that had been a way of convenience yet also receiving the discontent of others. All no longer are sustainable in my life. Not because of the conflict for me almost daily, but it is that there were others in this orbit who find joy and semblance of control in some way, by mistreating others.
My location or where I had been spending more time consistently has changed. I now feel freedom of movement and allowance to have respectfulness more interchangeably.
Choosing to and almost finishing paying off a credit card, and having paid off a bank loan, allow me freedom to move forward in finding a place to live for the longer term. My freedom allows me the opportunity to succeed at a higher level of progress and achievement for self, instead of just for the organizations primarily. I like to see organizations where I place my time and energy, to succeed.
Making small different choices allow room to adjust to better circumstances for self - development, values, honor, and respect for self. Sometimes these small choices, really are large choices - as admitting to oneself that the current circumstances are no longer tolerable and tenable. It is often the difference of lots of homeless around without cash, versus attempting to initiate movements to where environments are more supportive of mutual positive growth.
An example is an establishment considered to be open 24 hours, yet is emphasizing the 30-minute rule is in place - to order, eat and go. This decreases social time and more in the production of getting paying customers with less time in their lobby. With this company’s minimal commitment to the community, except to respond perhaps to parents of teens who come their to socialize after an event. It does seem that at times over the night and early morning hours, that there can be more wear and tear on the bathroom. The faster required of the turnaround, the less respect others seem to give the place’s lobby and bathroom. More stuff ends up on the floor and it looks like a mess to clean up. Mutual respect often seem to be initial turnkey - perhaps a subtle response, versus outward decision on treatment.
So time to change, starting with a single or several single steps, activating a better, more fulfilling path and perhaps a more alive future - than what feel at present.
